Is this set 1893 or 1993?

    I recently acquired this hand painted teapot with cream and sugar. They are clearly signed "G. Turner 93". China painting of blanks has been done for a very long time, so are these old or are they recent?

    I would suggest old - as in 1893, not 1993.

    The blanks are definitely older style, so I agree with the others. 1893.
