The paint job is identical but the vases are slightly different. Same glass though. No signatures anywhere. Does anyone know where these came from? DSCF8038.JPG DSCF8039.JPG DSCF8040.JPG

Is the interior yellow? If yes, Burmese glass, the paint looks a bit sloppy so probably not Webb but...

Yellow on one, pink on the other. I don't think it was deliberate, more like someone used the vase.

I wondered about that, but the paint didn't look that old. No joy in glowville, btw.

Could be. I'm not totally convinced, but I'm into the for $1 the pair. Can't say I'm too worried about it.

Bristol, as a term, is a nonsense. |Don't get me started.

It's amazing how well enamel can last.

I always thought Bristol referred to a color - cobalt blue - but have seen it applied to white/custard and now pink.

Bristol Glass means that which was made in Bristol. ;)

Blue glass was widely made there, cobalt, hence the term Bristol Blue.

I think I like the Bristol Blue glass better than the pink, but that just makes selling the pink easier. :p
