    Nice well made thing. Either just before or just after WW2, I suspect. The mark is intriguing: it's a European style 41, I think.

    I'm thinking it's a pattern number, but it's unusual to see it like that on older and non UK pieces. People like Sphinx, for example, used numbers, but this is earlier than those.
