    hi all,
I need your help with this vase, to me the patina is great but I would like to know if its really from the period or a relatively modern reproduction. dimension are 12" high (30 cms), 4" at top rim (10cm) and 3 1/2" (9cm) at the base. The top rim is rolled over around 2mm. The rim of the base appears to have been painted black but where it is worn the base metal looks like brass? Let me know if more photos of any area are needed and what clues you see.
    many thanks img_vase1s.jpg IMG_vase2s.jpg IMG_vase3s.jpg IMG_vase4s.jpg IMG_vase5s.jpg IMG_vase6s.jpg IMG_vase8s.jpg
