Featured Name these Germanics please

On octagonal 800 silver napkin rings

 

The first is Sigurd/Siegfried, that is the only one I'm certain of.

The second could be Odin/Wodan/Wotan etc.
The three ladies could be the three Nornes of fate.
The last one could be a Valkyrie, ready to ride to the battlefield.

 

Found our Valkyrie, it is Brunhild. The last napkin ring.

 

The Wagnerian napkin ring ring cycle.

 

I kept thinking of the Ring. Which doesn't necessarily mean these are Wagnerian.

My brother used to hum that a lot, or rather tadatada etc.

 

The napkin rings were part of a bigger set, there were entire sets of cutlery with the Wagner Opera motifs, esp. spoons. You find them regularly on ebay or in auctions

 

so, you're saying that they're not anything special............

 

Well, they might be rare, but certainly aren't one of a kind...
