    Or more precisely, a knight?, person with sword? stick? Is that a fly, a bee? and what precisely is it doing on his head……:confused:?
    It appears to be copper which was once maybe covered in gold paint
    Approx 2cm across.
    Thankyou for any insight!

    Actually looks to me like a scarab beetle with the wings revealed. Have you thought at all along Egyptian lines?
