Featured Any idea on these beads (necklace)

thought these might have been bakelite, but do not test as

Red doesn't always test. Do they feel relatively heavy? I don't think they're bakelite, but I could be wrong. The beads in places look more like acrylic.

Hi ksw, just checked, they go yellow under uv, but don't fluores

 

The reason I asked is that I’ve got some that arrived yesterday that look very similar and they are yellow under UV. Could be just the type of plastic. I’ll get them out later and do some investigation!.

If remember right, I think they left a red mark on the baking soda test

 

That isn't bakelite if it leaves red on the q-tip.

 

No, the reason you asked is that you are addicted to UV testing.
