Impressed mark in this stone glazed urn. Who made?

    Don't know the mark but nice example of German salt glazed stoneware

    I'd guess 1880s to early 1900s

    That auction estimate is so broad as to be basically meaningless. For what it's worth I also have trouble selling German salt glazed stoneware here in the United States. There are a few stein collectors around but even those can be hard to move. Darn minimalists!
