earrings maker?

    These earrings are marked sterling with a Hallmark "AM". Does anyone recognize this maker. I'm trying to find out origin and approximate age. Also curious what the stone is. They look kind of art deco to me, but I don't know a lot about jewelry.

    Art Deco was all the rage in the 80s,I call it 80's Deco.

    I'd say 80s Deco Revival. They look like they fell off the walls of a 1920s movie theater. The stone is malachite.
