I hope I didn't pay too much for this Bull

I was hoping someone might have seen something like this before.
He stands 6" tall and is a little over 10" long.
material is solid and white, so maybe chalk ware?
Weight is over 2 lbs. The only mark is the C in a circle which could be for Copy writes or a makers mark? Why would they put it on his butt anyway lol. And the #1501 written on the bottom.
Any information appreciated.

There are a surprising number of those about. Something about his almost comic aspect and coloration, makes me suspect he's Mexican. But I may be very wrong.

The copyright mark on the hip is supposed to look like the ranchers brand. They branded cattle with a hot iron in the olden days.

Here is a similar one on Etsy though he is on a platform that says Head Honcho. No other good info though.

That was my first thought, too, although I don't claim to have any expertise in this area.
