Featured Huge Damascene Dragon Buckle

I don’t know what to make of this buckle.
Is it Damascene? If so from which country as I see it being used for jewellery from several countries.
It’s huge at 10.5cm long.

Not Damascene, it is embossed brass with black paint in the recesses, in the manner of Toledo ware.
I feel your buckle is Czech, but I'm not an expert

It wants to be toledoware, but the back looks funny. Czech is as good a guess as any.

 

Looks like a stylized Phoenix bird with coral.

I was also thinking possible Siam or Persia, because of the coral.

Just suggesting other areas to search in.

 

I'm sorry, but this buckle does not resemble Ottoman Balkans or Ottoman Greek buckles in any way. Their buckles were hand made, often with filigree, not a composition of mass-produced stamped elements like on this spectacular piece. And they used Byzantine (double-headed) eagles rather than griffins.

This impressive buckle is early Toledo ware, imo. Classic Toledo griffin in stamped and blackened roundels. The pink cabochons look like glass.
In the early decades of the 20th century Toledo damascene and Toledo ware had much more variety than today.

Those motifs also have Moorish influence, so Toledo makes sense. That's better done than the more recent stuff.
