    Mind sharing how it's done? I've always been curious how buying storage units works, and how the pro buyers sort of evaluate what's there --- since as far as I know it's only "take a look from the door, (no touching anything, not opening boxes,) and make your bid!"

    I haven't seen or watched that TV show in ages, but how @JayBee described it is just how that show ran!!! 'Educated guess' and 'take a chance' along with hope- fully a sharp eye!!! It was fun to watch, and they were 'steadies' that went to the 'auctions'.....I never saw it run any other way!!! Very much "hit or miss"!!!

    Junque junkies unite! I watch some storage buyers on Youtube. Sometimes you strike gold, literally, and sometimes you have to wonder what the original owner thought was worth paying money to store.
