Hi everyone, interesting situation I have gotten myself into...

Now we go upstairs...

 

Fun! I’ve cleared similarly packed buildings - one was actually 2 buildings side by side, 1898 & 1900, 9 floors total - someone had blasted a hole on the 2nd floor in the 18” thick brick & mortar walls to access upper floors, as one building’s staircase had crumbled - so you went one flight up the north building’s stairs to get into the south building’s 2nd & 3rd floors (as well as north’s 3rd & 4th). Every floor was its own universe & there had been MANY businesses within those walls over the years, for instance the 2nd ever coca-cola bottling plant, a gym, bowling alley, pawn shop, beauty school, army/navy surplus…..wild stuff! Hard dusty work but FUN and great $$$$.

I found a web article with information on the Kochs company that made the barber chair. Apparently some of these chairs are collected,or at least are in demand.
