Good gravy that is sooooo much stuff.

I noted 2 photos of things that I would pickup.

There is a book on witchcraft... those things sell usually. Other books may be worth looking at too. Old cookbooks???

There is a box of vintage hard plastic Christmas items including Santas.
Some of the old ad cans may be good as well as the old wooden boxes.

And if you can grab the mix and match brass candlesticks for a good price, they still sell well for weddings.

Most of it I am not familiar with. I would lose my mind there.

I used to live in a neighboring town. Shutesbury is a rural town in Western Mass, home to many academics, professors at the Five Colleges (Umass, Amherst, Smith, Mt. Holyoke, Hampshire). I used to know a lot of hippies who lived in Shutesbury (back in the day!). I think the crowd is going to be huge at this sale.

There is a Roseville "Clematis" piece shown all by it's lonesome. Gorgeous.

Those guys are pretty savvy when it comes to pricing but the boss does good discounts for bulk purchases near the end of the sale.

I looked at a few photos and stopped. It's overwhelming. I hope you go and report back. The line for the door is going to be a mob scene.

I've honestly never seen a sale like this. It looks like a warehouse of collectibles. I agree the line is going to be insane. I bet the kind of sale where people will camp out overnight.

I don't think I could stop myself from going. Probably would go both days.

    That's a good tip.

Book, I get the same feeling when I see a great sale. Sometimes I go sometimes not. I decide that morning of the sale and if it is a no go, so be it. LOL

I shared the link on a daguerreotype collectors page on facebook, and one of the members responded that he had spoken with someone handling the sale. The collection of cased photographs (tintypes, ambrotypes, and daguerreotypes) and the Brady album were being sold in one lot, as a collection, not as individual images. The expected price for all was going to be between $10,000 and $14,000.

I don't know how the rest of the items would be sold, as lots or individually.

    WOW! So many treasures!
The world would be such a boring, uninteresting, dreary place if it weren't for collectors, junkers and packrats!...
When I see a place like this my first thought is always, "Someone (wish it could be me!) should buy the whole lot and not let it be scattered to the four winds!"
... But then again, I suffer from OCD (Obsessive Collecting Disorder!)

    It is really overwhelming..........

    One nice baby doll....gorgeous eyes.

A couple of nice slag glass lamps.

And the MP pottery not to be overlooked. (Marblehead Pottery).

It's doubtful that the boxes are Shaker........I've been told, that the "fingers" on the the lid and the base should always be facing the same way. Perhaps @James Conrad knows if that's true or not.
