Quotes from the poet Pierre de Bouchaud and Napoleón. Here's one of Napoleón's, spoken at the Battle of Wagram. À la guerre, il faut s'appuyer sur l'obstacle pour le franchir which (roughly) translates to “In war, you have to lean on the obstacle to overcome it."

I adjusted the contrast and rotated slightly. May make it a bit easier on the eyes.

Translate as:

Translate as:

When I want to interrupt a case, I close its drawer and I open that of another. They do not mingle with each other and never bother me or tire me. Do I want to sleep? I close all the drawers and here I am asleep.
