Stone ID help please - Alabaster?

    I’d love some help to ID these beads please. Mary Contrary gem tester tells me they are glass. I don’t believe her!
    They look like the colour of those 70’s ashtrays or book ends.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Onyx is black agate,you might have travertine.

    There is a green onyx. Very popular in México for jewelry and decorative objects.

    Mexican onyx is travertine,not agate.

    Banded green calcite is often labelled onyx

    I bet those are Italian. They use green obyx/alabaster a great deal.
