What are these - oriental hat box?

    I bought these thinking they were old oriental stacking hat boxes, but googling that shows nothing like these - can anyone tell me what these are?

    Lots of examples on google under Chinese Hat Box. Some on ebay also.

    Wow - thanks Kronos; I looked with Chinese instead of oriental and found some!
    Honestly I think the Bing search engine in my Acer laptop has to be the worst - many times I search google and go to that site & search for something & there's almost always more stuff comes up than did with Bing
