Trying to find the artist. What are the initials: A.I,P.I or may R.I or F.I? It’s 34,5cm X 14,5cm. Thank you for any comments and help.

I think F.I. Comely. Work is naive so probably a Sunday painter.

Appreciate the comment. I was thinking it is pretty well done (but I really don’t know much about art) I like the rich colours used and the reflections in water..The simplicity of the buildings gives it a sort off charm to me.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

BUT I do see what you mean about a potential very faint possible 'A' very close to the 'F'......so IF you find the artist, it might take you a while.....it looks to ME like it might have been in a smoker's possession at one time.....which means I would LOVE to try a Q-tip with some spittle on it.....but that's just ME!!!! I Rather LIKE it!!!!!!!

Charming. That's a much older hand. Would have been painted by someone in their later years.

Thanks Debora. Your valuable comments are always much appreciated. So an older amateur painter.

Thank you, Boland. And, yes. That would be my opinion. Of course, that of others may differ.

I found an F. Comley in Meigs, Salisbury County, Ohio. You might want to explore if that (or near by) is your location.

Great. Thank you again..At least painted in 1914 makes it a bit more interesting.
