Featured Can you believe this pottery piece? I was helpless to buy it even though broken.

This was at the thrift, handle has been badly broken and poorly re-glued. I'm not even sure what I'm going to do with the piece, it may eventually go into my garage sale, but I had to own it for a few weeks. So much going on! There's a lot I like about it, but honestly it doesn't fit with my stuff. I have found the artist, so more of a show and tell. Shame it is broken, probably why it was donated. Maybe not for everyone, but isn't it cool in a way?

I believe the potter is Sara Lerner. There is a business card on the base. I almost wondered if this was in a show at one time as it's numbered.

She is still working as a potter from what I gather online. She worked out of Palm Beach. I don't see anything like this in her current work. Of course this goes back to the 90s and boy does it scream 90s! Probably what caught my eye about it. There is a piece of hers on Ebay more similar, not as elaborate but along these lines.

Uma Thurman played Poison Ivy in the 1997 movie Batman and Robin. I thought of it immediately even if those are birds of paradise. I would have bought it too.
