I’m wondering about the origins of this necklace?
Would Germany be likely? The beads are rather lovely. Some are givre, some foiled, some swirled and some faceted with a pressed or moulded pattern. The clasp is a dogs dinner of all of them!
Any insight please and also age estimate (50s?)
    Thanks for looking as always:)

Those beads glued into the clasp ... and the wire windings on the ends of the strings. German is as good a guess as any. The glued beads often lead me to Hong Kong, but the bead caps and wire ends point towards European origin.

Thankyou. I am learning to pick up some clues at last. Maybe the beads are a mixture as the transparent faceted ones could be Czech?

Could be. Beads hop from country to country; where they're made and where they are made into jewelry can be two different continents.
