Handle? For stove? Pot?

    I’m not sure what this is, though I think it might be for opening a wood stove. Maybe. No idea as to age either.     You are correct, it's a lid lifter for a cookstove.

    Definitely a stove lid handle.

    We lived in my grandmother's house growing up, and our stove required one.
