Dipinto a Mano means painted by hand not a maker's name, Boland. ;)

Pleased with this. There was a dealer I don't care for grabbing very light junky silver bracelets, I'd suspect to melt. He ignored this one. It's heavy, proper full hallmarks and cost me a tenner. New, they're about a hundred, but it's me Scottish heritage.

Said dealer won't buy anything unmarked. He is a muppet.

I'd have run off with that SO FAST. A friggin' MACINTOSH design, authorized, for a tenner? Hallmarked? Kthanksbye. :cat::cat:

I did find some bit yesterday, snow or no snowstorm. Nothing worth showing, but there were five little 14k earring backs, about a buck in sterling scrap, and some cheapie 14k earrings for US$5. I wasn't about to argue.

Thank you for all the comments and advice re the DVF dress. I loathe measuring things so I rarely sell clothing. If an item is contemporary, I usually just use the size guide off the brand's web site for my measurements. Figure my market will be a DVF customer shopping the brand and she will know her size.

Hi Debora, plate looks to have some age. It’s 35cm across. I like the ‘amateur look’ of it 029CF470-FDFA-4D28-8F15-FC324A011E9D.jpeg

The dealer who ignored it was an idiot. The seller normally asks silly money, too. My win!

@nancyselliott - Brad helped us out & posted a link to the painting.

I know it can sometimes be very difficult especially when the thread has over 25,500 postings.:happy:

Thank you - thank you - thank you! Looks great!! Oscar is smiling down!! Will share this with my family and add it to our book of Oscar's paintings. Hugs to you and Brad!! If interested, check out his bio on findagrave dot com (Oscar Emil Munkvold)...Sadly, I never met him - but I did inherit his love of art!

You're most welcome, happy to do it for you!!:happy: EDIT!!! And of course now that it's posted, I see a small circle that I don't know how I left on the right side of the frame.....I can clean that up in two seconds if you don't mind!!!!! AND DONE!! Just down load it again and the little circle won't be there!

@nancyselliott - if you don't already you should set up a saved search for his paintings on eBay. That way you will get a message from eBay if someone does list one there.

Thank you bercrystal for the hint to do a saved search on ebay...I'll do that. I do have that set up in google...but seldom get any hits. THANKS!
