20220308_170259.jpg 20220308_170259.jpg Key is approximately 2.5 to 3 inches long and has the number 3 in the middle at the start of the shaft. Trying to find approximate age, purpose, and other general information. Any knowledge shared will be greatly appreciated!

It may be a key for an older curio or some type of display cabinet. I have an older bowfront & an Art Deco display cabinet that both take this type of hollow key.

The keys are both a different shape at the end & are not interchangeable.

Wow, thats pretty neat! Would you have an idea of age, maybe 1800's?

There may be ones that are that old but I don't know about yours. Mine are likely 1920s to 1940s. One came with the piece but the other did not luckily I have a stash of this type of key & found one that works with that lock in my stash.

Pretty run of the mill, early 20th century furniture lock, but they always come in handy.
