(Quick googling didn't reveal what maker used HIE. @silvermakersmarks website doesn't have this particular mark.)

Also, would it be possible to sell it and if so, what range could it fetch?

 

there are collectors out there who would luv these nice boxed items....
if u put them in a fine auction , a couple of bidders could fight amongst themselves and who knows how high the final sale price could go??????

 

Have a look on eBay solds. That should give you an idea.

 

From English silver hallmarks: British maker's marks identification HF-HL (silvercollection.it) , the Maker's Mark: Highpoint Import Export Ltd, 22 Stuart Crescent - London. I think this is correct.

 

I saw that but didn't mention it here because I thought it likely a more modern company... and I could only find modern examples. The example shown in your link is from 1971. Also, their HIE letters are sans serif, unlike the letters of OP's mark so, technically, it's a different mark.
Did you find anything indicating Highpoint Import Export was around in 1831?
