DH worked with a man whose child had a Furby. Child was seated in the back of the car and had placed the Furby in the large rear window.

At some point the man had to stop the car rather suddenly. The Furby flew out of the rear window and as it flew toward the front seat of the car it let out a long "Wheeeeeeeee!!!"

The Furby really freaked out the father with its "wheeeeeee."

I'm getting real tired of seeing morons that don't know the difference between asking and selling

The whole list cited is UNSOLD

Seems to be how most garage sales are pricing lately

It's worth going to look up completeds though just in case they're in the ballpark. I know we've got some of those things around here somewhere though in played with condition. Those moon shoes were a big favorite for years.

I agree with Terry about items being quoted at asking rather than selling price.

But my heart skipped a beat, as I know there are still 3 super soakers out in the garage that work!

    Plus Ninja turtles galore.

I even have the costumes I made for my husband and son to wear to a Halloween party. If you ever want to make your husband feel like an idiot, dress him as a ninja turtle and insist he is doing it for his son! ! !

There are two Furbys on top of the bookshelf in my daughter's room - she grew up and doesn't live here anymore. Once in a great while, they will start talking, and it still freaks me out! hahaha

I wish I had my childhood toys, but I was the only girl in my family and I suspect everything was passed down to my younger girl cousins.

My daughter did inherit her grandmother's Raggedy Ann and Andy, plus books (books are dated). Her sister, who will be 100 in Oct., swore they were from her childhood. Years ago, the nice folks on the doll board proved without a doubt, they could not be any earlier than the 40s, I think.

I have two original furbies and one tiny one and a Poly Pocket. Now to hunt them down.

Quite a few things on this list do not bring the big $$ they are insinuating. The Furbies are mostly low dollar items. There are a few rarities.

I passed by a pair of the moon shoes at the thrift recently. I thought twice but thought them too new to be worth much without packaging. Seems they would have been worth buying but I would still be driving my same old broken down van just the same ...

I looked at eBay and found a lot of cheap furbies so yes,the high priced ones are most likely rare,so I saved myself the chore of hunting mine down ;) I am still looking for my Polly though :)

My daughter had the Polly Pockets and quite a few of the girl themed toys. My son had the castle and pirate ship and the Power Rangers stuff. I think most is still in the basement.
