Silver filigree brooch with charms

No markings, any thoughts on this please, such as where it might be from and rough age? Also if you've seen one like it before, what was on the toe of the slipper? I'm assuming a bead of some sort.

 

The shoe is referred to informally as a "Turkish slipper."

The pin could be Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Greek, etc. That sort of filigree was done all over the place. It might actually even be Turkish, but my money is on souvenir of Greece. It might be silver and might not.

 

I'm betting Turkish or Emirates. The shoe and the coffee pot.

 

I love charms, they are so personal to a culture or person.

 

There are some square indentations in the filigree at the front, I didn't see them before. There is something in them I can see what looks like a Z but can't make out what the other bits are.
