Underwood Olivetti desk set?

    I've heard of Underwood typewriters but don't know anything about the company(/person?) anymore broadly than that. However I came across this desk set, or whatever it is, a few years back and am wondering if anyone knows anything about this or similar items, or just Underwood in general.

    I appreciate any thoughts!

    start of 1960s Underwood sales figures went down dramatically and Olivetti was shareholder and took over in 1963. the Underwood siggy was only kept due the US market - Hemingway etc.. mid 1980s the Underwood name was last used on Spanish Olivettis.
    your set looks 1970s to 1980s.
