Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

The fact that her work on that website does not closely resemble your picture is why I wrote that I am not at all sure it is the same person. However, I do think it's worth asking her.

Still on my phone, but this link may work: http://luisfonsecas.blogspot.com/2011/06/carolina-casusol-valle-pintura.html?m=1

An absolute match? Not even. I still think it's the same artist as journey's.

(just now seeing that "valle" is the link I'm sending, lol)

There are photos of her works (and of the young artist herself) on each of the links, you may have to click tabs at the top or scroll down on the instagram link, which contains photographs of her paintings and inspirational sky pictures. I can see that she was in New Orleans, at least for a while. @journeymagazine , hope you can see this because it makes sense that she may have had a show of her cloud / landscape paintings at Tulane University.

@rink28 - I doubt it matters that her older work is nothing like her college work done at a university with a somewhat famed art school. Art schools tend to try to push a student out of their "comfort zone" - perhaps that's the reason for widely varying executions.

I don't know what to think about the last link Jivvy posted, as the paintings are too small for me to see them very well on that link. They kind of look monochromatic, much like the cigar smoker painting.

We provided a link back in post #5 in this thread to a better look at one of the images seen in the page to which Jivvy linked. Here's another look at it:

Could still very well be the work of two completely different people with the same or similar name, but many (most) creative people can and do produce work in completely different styles, and/or their "trademark" style can evolve and change as their attitudes and influences and skill level evolve and change...
