Anybody know how these where made ? In a punch or by hand ? And what could they have been made for ? I'm starting to think the lady did shows, I could be wrong.

    Any clues ?

    Thank You

Button covers, they slip over an ordinary button.

    I hope they did not damage/use any 1913 "D" or "S", 1915 "S" or 1921 "S" 1926 "S"

Buffalo/Indian Head nickels are commonly used for jewelry. A coin dealer I know commonly sell his poor/cull condition Buffalos to people who make jewelry for 10 to 15 cents each.

My GF has a western hatband made of 24 alternating buffalo/Indian nickels it's striking and gets many compliments. She also has one made out of 14 commemorative half dollars, with a standing liberty silver dollar as a centerpiece.

Got any pictures? What is the year on the dollar? Sounds cool, although I hope no coins of significant value were harmed in its creation. I've seen Carson City mint mark Morgan dollars soldered onto belt buckles before and other valuable key date coins made into love tokens.
