Flemish Floral Oil Painting- Identification Help

Hello all,
I picked up this beauty last year. Can anyone help decipher the numbers, letters, or names listed on the back of the painting?

There is no signature on the front. I believe RBR might stand for Rare Book Room.

did an old library sell it off?
what size is it
where r u
where did it come from

the numbers on the frame are likely just work numbers from the framer....
or catalog numbers from the last owner..

 

What would "Rare Book Room" have to do with a painting?

 

We definitely need more context to have any hope of helping you. Why do you think "RBR" might mean Rare Book Room?

Please also post a photo of the entire back of the painting, so we can see the structure of the stretcher, and type and condition of the canvas. This may be helpful in dating the painting.

 

-I am thinking that maybe an old library sold it off or a small museum and the numbers and letters might correspond to their cataloguing systems. I talked to the Winterthur museum in Delaware this morning and the woman mentioned that RBR might mean "Rare Book Room" somewhere.
- with frame, it is around 22in x 28in
- Virginia
- I picked it up from a church sale.

Great question. So one of my online searches brought me to the Winterthur museum at some point (I went down a rabbit hole so please dont ask how I ended up there) but the very helpful woman at their library told me that RBR typically translates to "Rare book room." I thought it might help to determine where it might have been previously housed.

I have and all I can find is Vanleigh furniture of New York. But I can't find where that company might have sold or produced paintings.

Vanleigh was a furniture company in New York. Could have been retailed there as a decorative item.

 

The stretcher bars do not look very old, not much patina. The ring spacing does not look like old growth timber. I suppose the painting could be older and was put on new stretcher bars. It is a nice looking painting for sure.

 

The quality of the painting looks more like a modern (20th century) work in the style of a baroque Flemish floral still life. For example, in the baroque paintings I have seen the flowers are realistically placed in a vase or basket, not floating in space.
