I've tried Gotheborg.com but couldn't find the Mark

    Is this old as it bears no indication of a country of origin, although it is obvious Japanese, and the seller claims it is Satsuma, 1920. Satsuma I agree with; but the date?

    It is 25cm high by 14.5cm diameter.

    I'd appreciate comments on date and thee manufacture/artist.

    No help with the artist but definitely Satsuma and age looks correct. Imho

    Aside the last character being 'zan' I can't make this one out. Date is about right, these are 1920-35 in most references. Artist isn't going to make any significant price difference here, it's a made to be cheap piece from when the Japanese economy and ceramics industry was in trouble prior to WW2.
