Take pictures. Lots of pictures. I wouldn't know what to do with ephemera if it dropped on me (other than ship it to @Bookahtoo !) but you can bet I'm curious!

Everything I see is collectible. The Sears catalog
(repro?), the anti-drug booklet, and Mad magazine are probably worth the most. Someone would want all of it, though.

The Sears catalog is definitely a reproduction. The anti-drug thing is actually a book cover, currently on a notebook. And there are a lot more…

Ah - a book cover. Even better! :D

There are a lot of collectors for those felt banners.

Too bad that Reagan postard was printed in the 80s.

I don't think you'll get much for a post 1960 magazine, unless the cover has a very famous person or event on it.

I probably won’t get much for a post 1960 magazine even if it does have a famous person or event on the cover, especially since none of them are in perfect condition. If I was willing to store the Bruce Springsteen Rolling Stone issue for another 20 or 30 years it would probably be worth something.

I’m just putting everything on the table. Maybe a budding collector on a budget will have a good day

The one from 1937 is super cool, though, and definitely isn’t going in the recycling bin if it doesn’t sell!

I think you'll sell out of the magazines if you price them 2 or 3 for a dollar.

Holy moly! No wonder you didn't even want to try dealing with it! I wouldn't either, but if I were in better shape and closer by I'd be in there digging. The step stool and scale will probably sell quickly.

<Cue maniacal laughter> Yup! A *lot* of stuff. When the tag sale folks expressed concern that I might pick out so much that there wouldn’t be anything left to sell, I literally laughed until tears came. Maybe 20 years ago I could have made a more impressive dent in what was there, but there were at least 15 boxes of collected stuff, a twin bed with full width drawers, 3 dressers, a blanket chest, stuff piled high on every surface, plus 2 bookcases, and laundry hamper, a small standing cabinet, a table covered in stuff, and a closet full of stuff, plus stuff all over 3 walls…

And that was just my bedroom!

You'd need a small army to make a dent in THAT - aka a good crowd at an estate sale. And they're paying you to haul it off. I love when that happens. One that I saw as an experiment once was a last day when everything was free. The company wanted it cleaned out to the bare walls and they got fairly close. They'd already held the sale for two or three days by then. It got a little nuts at first, but stuff grew feet and left and they didn't need anyone watching everything because you can't steal "free".
