    Wow! Clearly from the same line of brooches! You guys are awesome. I think you are right about the solder, this pin has been in my possession since the early 80's and has never had a repair.

    I had a round one with that sort of work on the back once. My cousin bagged it before I could even get a photo. I bet it was Hobè too.
