Featured Sterling fork & spoon 925/1000 hallmarked

    I have these 2 sterling pieces, both have the same lion hallmark but one is hallmarked T and the other M, who knows the maker ?

    The maker is Towle Silversmiths, Billy. Very good quality. I'll go looking for the pattern for you. Be right back.

    The pattern is Lady Mary, made from 1917 until 1996.

    I looked in Rainwater's Encyclopedia to see if there was any explanation of the T and the M, but she doesn't mention them. Usually, a marking like those designates "weight" but I am not sure about these.
