Need help with ID of a few Japanese pottery pieces

Discussion in 'Pottery, Glass, and Porcelain' started by Thomas Hamilton, Feb 19, 2022.

  1. I’m fairly certain most of this is newer age pieces and not very expensive, but I can’t seem to find the marks after searching for quite some time. Any help would be appreciated.

    4. I found the mark in in the Website linked for pottery marks, but it said that it was unknown late 20th century. 76DC6D76-67E4-4ACE-99DF-C23BEDF48AC4.jpeg

Look on gotheborg.com; click Japanese marks on the left. The plate with the geishas is BiBi.
The plate that says Hand Painted Satsuma has a Kutani mark, so I don't know what's up with that.
The last mark, on the vase, needs rotating clockwise a quarter. It's Chinese, Qianlong Nian Zhi.
One of the vases has a four character seal mark that says Bijutsu Toki, from the 1970s. I kind of lost track of what picture goes with what mark.

The one with "Hand painted Satsuma" also had a safety warning that was not used until well after WWII.

  4. Thanks for that information! That is a great point. @Bakersgma
