Featured Red & Blue Turquoise Inlay on Tibetan Seal - Common?

I haggled for this antique Tibetan seal from a wizened trader in the Barkhor Square in Lhasa, Tibet in the early 1990s. I've been looking everywhere (eBay, Etsy, Worthpoint, Google Images) but can't find another example of any turquoise inlay. I've found seals with an enormous lump of blue turquoise at the top of the seal, but no inlays.

Has anyone seen anything similar? And does the 4 pointed red star mean anything (Chinese stars typically have 5 points)?

It's 6 inches high, 2 inches at the base and weighs 8 oz.

Doesn't strike me as antique at all, is cool though

I was hoping you'd be able to decipher the seal!

Perhaps vintage? I've just researched that 'antique' is at least 100 years old while 'vintage' is 50 years. The inlays may help determine its age.

Agreed. Cool and pretty looking. To me the seal/stamp plate part looks older than the rest of it..

I've down those rabbit holes on my own stuff and it is both interesting and frustrating. This is an unknown area for me.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Looks like you will be a Tibetan seal expert before you know it! I know nothing about these, but it does appear that yours is quite worn compared to the others shown in this thread.
