Featured Yellow/Orange chinese/Japanese vase

Just bought this on ebay surfing through buy it now's

Just looked odd, interesting

Was £20 so might only be worth that, but where's the harm right ?

Japanese ?

That's Tommy Cooper, a british comedian/ joke magician , his catch phrase was "just like that"

Quite shocking actually watching it again, the crowd thought he was fooling about,

But the colour in his face

 

nice chap. hard drinker. never stopped a show before everybody left after 6 hours only sometimes.

It's a type of Japanese Satsuma called Kacho-Ga, probably early 20th century and just in the Meiji period from the looks.

Don't know what's happened to blooey. Hasn't been here since last May.

 

Didn't he say he bought an RV and was taking it on the road to sell things. I'm surprised he didn't come back home for the winter though. @blooey - Are you there?

 

I missed that if he did though I miss a lot. I did see mention of wondering where he was in the where the heck is thread but didn't see an answer (could have missed that too though)
