Help With Doll Identification.....

Hello, I found a doll in my mom's estate and was wondering if it cold have been hers or an older relative. It's got printing on its neck but I am having trouble deciphering it. She did have clothes on her but I'm not sure they were original. You can see in the first picture towards the middle of her chest that there's a round "thing" in her the middle of her chest.

She is a Horsman doll. The round thing in her chest used to make a noise when the doll was tipped forward or backward. Perhaps it still does.


Sometimes known as a "crier".

 

A photo of the clothes might tell if original to the doll or not.

 

I don't know if the information of the Betty doll is true in this ad, but worth reading.
