IMG_20220217_224558643.jpg IMG_20220217_224553744.jpg I was wondering if anyone could tell me something about these two love birds? They were my mother's and seems like I've seen them all my life (39). Maybe repainted, I'm not sure, I cannot find any markings and the bottoms are covered in some felt type material so maybe there's a marking underneath?

I'm not getting rid of them but I would like to know how old they are and possibly who made them, do they serve any purpose besides visual etc. I'm also unsure of the material so any info would be great, thanks!!

Hello @Tomknox & welcome to the forum!!:happy:

You have my permission to remove the felt on the bottom as it was likely put there by your mother to protect the piece of furniture where they were set. ;)

Even if you do not find any marks still do post some photos as members can often ID a piece by the color of the clay or the way the bottom is formed.

Also, a couple of photos of the backs of the figurines as sometimes there are marks on the bases in the back.

Also if you could go back & choose the full image option so that folks do not have to click on your photos to enlarge them. Some are leery to do this with unknown members & it does make it hard on us, especially when dealing with the marks.

Thanks, I'll check underneath and report back. I probably overlooked full size images during the post so I'll look for that next time and try to edit if possible. I hate thumbnails and I'm used to embedded images via 3rd party, thanks again! **Edit got that fixed**
