Greetings, Antiquers. I am hoping that your collective wisdom will be able to help me establish the origin and perhaps even age of these two rings, which I acquired sometime ago.

The first has what appears to be a turquoise table-cut stone, set in a silver chased bezel with a double row of round, gold-colored metal granules at the bottom. The back is beautifully decorated, with chasing and repousse designs. The shank is also decorated, although not to the same extent, and is not one piece. As you can see it was left open, which I assume was done for sizing reasons. It is 2" L x 1.45" W. Weight: 48 grams

The second is similar, but larger, with a table-cut coral-colored stone, kidney-shaped, in silver bezel setting featuring with two dragons. A single row of copper or gold granulated beads line the bottom below the bezel. Reverse side chased, featuring dragon and foliate designs. Ring band is also chased and openZAaaa, allowing sizing. 3" L x 2.2" W. Weight: 85 grams

I was fortunate enough to acquire them late last year at the auction of a Maryland estate. Unfortunately, however, I have not been able to find any marks, anywhere.

The stones are dyed and stabilized turquoise and red-dyed something-or-other, looks like. I'd be guessing Nepal for an origin, but someone who knows Asian jewelry may know better.
