Featured Philip Gardiner watercolour?

Hi, I recently purchased this at auction and looks to me like Philip Gardiner works and signature I’ve found online. Does anyone know anything about him and confirm this is his work? Most auctions I’ve found are seaside works from Norfolk UK. I can find no biographical info. This work measures 35cm x 45cm (artwork alone, not frame). Many thanks

 

Sig doesn't match up to that of the Norfolk Gardiner, if the pieces you mentioned are like the ones below. This Gardiner uses an odd mix of uppercase and lowercase letters and the "E" is upper. The "e" in your piece is lower.

The technique, in terms of the application of paint doesn't seem to be a match to my eye.

If these aren't the same works that you mentioned, can you please post a pic of the one you found?

Thanks @sabre123 yes can see what you mean. The “G”, lack of an initial (surname only), overall sig style and that they’re all water themed watercolours all led me to this possibility - hence posting to see.

 

I thought there was a definite similarity. Also, there are a stunning number of watercolor artists out there named Gardiner, but I didn’t find any with an even remotely similar signature. NTC Collector’s watercolor doesn’t look all that much like the ones sabre123 posted, but it does look rather like these two to me.
Of course, I’m a total ignoramus when it comes to art, so take it with a grain of salt!
