Featured big glass costume brooch

    hi all

    something i found today in a charity shop today for very little. wondering if its junky or not
    seems a bit better than the usual costume pieces i see but unsure
    good weight to it

    more of a gold tone than silvery

    wondering age of it

    does the fact that the stone is set and not glued make it a better piece of costume

    any thoughts or info appreciated

    Looks like Austrian costume to me. That filigree back combined with the pie crust setting and a big glass stone? It's not marked but they often weren't. Early 70s??

    I'd agree 60s into 70s. Might also be German.

    Also looks like I've finally got a tan, or maybe the Oompa-Loompa version of a tan
