Hi again. I think I have identified this as a Filipino gunong. Please help me know if that's right, and your opinion as to how old it is. Thanks as always.
with a horse hoof type pommel hilt like that of a Bangkung, a guard made of wood that fits poorly to the blade, and a sheath of undecorated wood.... I'd have to say it has no real age, and is poorly conceived for what it pruports to be.
