    The person who started that thread back in 2013 is a member here on Antiquers... @916Bulldogs123 . Maybe it has been too long, but I wonder whether he remembers the one he had?

    Also, somebody else in the thread mentioned trying a search for Alvin silver overlay perfume bottle. I just tried that search and found some, but didn't immediately see one like the one discussed here.

    Yes I remember it clearly. I gave mine to my Mom. When she passed my Sister took possession of it. I never found out anything about it.
