    I sold the 8" one several years ago for 75 dollars. Nice grab!!!!!!!!

    Thank you ! I google image searched and looked at carnival glass bowls till I thought Id go mad ! WHY cant I find anything anymore ???? By the by,its 9 1/4 inches wide.

    That blue bowl is setting my spidey senses off too. That's cobalt blue glass, known to the Brits as Bristol blue I think, and it looks like it's hand blown and old as the hills. Maybe @afantiques or @Ownedbybear knows.

    I bought one of those jars again today, and will get my money back. No gold though.

    No offense to anyone's finds (and I don't know monetary value), but my favorite is that blue bowl -- by far!

    Girls like cobalt blue; did you see those two Chinese glass vases that popped up on the Roadshow years ago? The guy who bought them didn't know anything about antiques, but they were pretty and the auctioneer handed his gavel to the assistant so he could bid on them himself. The buyer figured they had to be something good and eventually came away with them. (he went looking for shotguns)

    Circa 1940's Remington Rand Deluxe Model 5 Typewriter - at the thrift today for 20 bucks - Even if I can't sell it any time soon - it's cool as all get out.
