these cast iron soldiers about 21" tall. Who made? they look Frankish

    So glad you remembered our king and his wee dragon.:)
    Ambiorix was king of the Eburones, who were probably Gallic-Germanic, so a mix of Celtic and Germanic.
    Of course statues like that of Ambiorix were made in the 19th century, the time when so many things were an expression of awareness of national identity rather than historically correct.;) The same probably goes for the two spelter soldiers.
