The name in the 2nd photo looks like Giulia Calò. The one who floods search results is contemporary.

I believe the painting must have been relined onto the new canvas as it looks too new. It might be the names of the restorers or/and auction house stamp. The name Giulia Calò doesn't seem to come up in my quick searches.

Please post close up shots of the painting, details of collar and face. The artist signature can be in dark corners, photos should be taken in good light.

Yes, but unlikely this Giulia is the artist. The portrait painting style, clothes and hair indicate 19th century.

Yes, I agree, the one with such a presence on social media is probably not the same Giulia.

So copy of a 17th century painting. The OP's appears to be cropped. Is it? Or was it cropped to post? Would you be kind enough to post a photograph of the entire front of the work including frame? That would be helpful for dating.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

And that one says it is "after Gilbert Soest" -- I found this one by Soest that is reversed, but may have been copied for the other. https://artuk.org/discover/artworks/william-shakespeare-15641616-54202
