    All:

I had some fine jewelry stolen, expensive 18k pearl necklace with diamonds. There are no serial numbers on the diamonds as they pre-date that technology. Also, I have an antique Concord watch for which I have the serial number. Does anyone have any ideas besides searching eBay?

    Thank you in advance!

    Awful to hear. Sympathies.
Are you in the US? Try local listings on Craigslist...

Trying that too. One of the pieces I think may have been sold a while ago (just looked in safe where it was). I am less concerned about who took it, but more just trying to find it

This is dreadful, not only to lose something precious but it sounds like from somewhere that should have been safe and presumably you know who has access. I really feel for you.
You can look on eBay sold listings up to three months ago, that and Facebook marketplace tend to be where things get shifted quickly but once those listings are gone they are gone.

About 6 months after we were burgled,I was in an antique store near our house and I saw moms antique wristwatch and a silver mesh purse that I just knew were from our house. I asked the lady where she got them and she said she bought them. I then explained to her where I think they were from and she said "too bad" so I called the police as they had a list of what was stolen. They also said "too bad" as I didnt have pictures or receipts proving they were ours. Like there were a 100 white gold art deco womens wristwatches stolen that year.Moral of my story is unless you have pics of the items, even if you did find them it'd be a crap shoot wether you got them back. As an aside, that wretched woman went out of business not long after.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

HA!!! WE DID have pictures, gave them to the police and everything, but by the time we realized my Mom's items were stolen, it was WAY to late to even think about retrieving them in any way shape or form!!! And of course, Mom didn't believe in insurance back then either!!! SO SAD and sorry for your loss of precious items....they're only items, but it still hurts!!!!
