    How big is this piece? It appears to be made of wood is that correct? Changing your photos to full size might help the folks that might be able to help. Also maybe a close-up photo of the upper front portion couldn't hurt.

    To me, it looks like it's based on a Pre-Columbian figure, but the headdress is very Jamaican.

    Hi! Thank you for responding

    It’s roughly a little over 12inches, definitely made of wood as it’s actually pretty heavy. Honestly, it was given as a gift a couple years ago from a thrift store near Chicago, Illinois.
    I’ve always been curious if it had any spiritual intention/hoped it wasn’t a “bad” thing to have in the house

    It looks like it is a souvenir from Mexico which is roughly based on the Toltec statues at Tula:
