PENCIL DRAWING

    These drawing is framed and measures 14x18 inches unframed.
    It looks like a pencil sketch of a Native American behind a Bull and Cow or Bull Skull with 2 flying figures
    It is signed R/Hass.I am not exactly sure of the signature.

    mixed up native images.......I doubt Haas is 1st nations..

    The way his face is done, it looks like a caricature of a real person.

    I'll play art critic here.
    The focus of the illustration is the man's face, and it is poorly done.
    It looks like the artist spent more time on the bison than on the man's face.
    The shadow and perspective of nose is off, and it bugs me. The nostrils look awkward.
    Student/amateur piece, I think.
    "A" for effort, though.

    That's the very accomplished signature in an older style. I'd think not done by a fully trained artist but someone with a creative eye and learned technique. (Take a pencil and sheet of paper and try to reproduce a portion of the work to see what I mean. Not easy.) 1960s from the mat and frame. Why don't you open the back and see what you find?
